Ponytail hat, Messy Bun elastic Band Beanie
If you are looking for a stylish fun hat while keeping warm, you are at the right place.
Messy bun hat is an easy way to keep your bun, braids/ponytail tied up cozy at the same time. Sometimes life is too busy and, putting on a hat with a whole on top is the best solution instead of being in front of a mirror for half an hour. This accessory is fashionable and can also rescue you on a bad hair day.
It is also easy to make and can be made in one day. It is a great item as a gift. Christmas is around the corner and it is the best gift you can make everyone. The idea came to me after most of you liked a similar hat on Youtube. I figured, creating a different version would add more value to the collection you can make for yourself, friends, or your kids. The pattern is really easy to make and can be made for everyone, it is functional and must have.
Reasons you will love this hat
This hat can me be made with any weight yarn, variety of colors and for anybody. This particular pattern used worsted weight yarn and it is very stretchy.
· From my experience kids especially, toddles can have hit and miss when it comes to hat sizes. Some toddlers would need a kid size hat while others don’t. Mt point is, this hat gives you a leeway to determine the length and width of the hat. If you want a wider brim, start with more chains. You can also keep trying the hat on to check the fit.
· This is perfect for a beginner ready to try basic stitch and add an element of complexity with an elastic band. It is a practical fall and winter item to have as your “go to” for chilly days
