The inspiration for this sweater came a sweater I saw at a local store and notice a trend on mesh, oversized knitted sweaters for spring. Spring and summer is time for lose clothing, ripped jeans and leggings but still want to look stylish. Sage sweater is made for three rectangles, one piece panels and two sleeves with lots of room to provide comfort

The Sage sweater is made from one piece of panels. The back panel is made bottom up, have neck opening that continues on to the front panel. The back panel is longer offering a lot of coverage than the front. This creates a slit for the panels for modern look. The slit panels and the mesh give warm weather vibes, the casual yet fresh and fashionable look.

Sleeves are made from 2 rectangles and due to the relaxed fit, tend to have longer length than a standard sweater. The neckline provides crewneck design with an interesting texture for a unique visual.

The Yarn used for this pattern is made from Bamboo Rayon and can can quite stretchy. Be very careful when you block the sweater because you might end up way bigger size than intended. The yarn is very silky, soft and would be great for people with wool allergy and I can not say enough about the drape it creates. It is also lightweight which makes it perfect for a warm weather Pattern. I used Silk Soft by Loops and Threads but here is a similar yarn from Lionbrand.
